It sucks to say, because the game IS fun, but under current management, it's only fun enough to get you interested, then comes the non-stop predatory monetization. Free to play players need not apply, if you're not whaling, you're not playing. It's actually worse than when Nuverse owned/published them, and that's insane to me. It's in a bad state right now, and I wouldn't bother with it.

Initially this was a fun game to kill some time. I was even fine with some of the micro transactions to acquire cards I liked. $10 for a season pass was reasonable for a card and rewards to speed up progress. However, this past season included a second tier paywall for additional card.It also had a new game mode that had a premium payment attachment which seemed like the only way to be rewarded the appropriate points to unlock fun emotes/variants. GREED will prevent me from recommending this.

This was one of the very best mobile games I've ever played--certainly the best TCG/CCG. Snap's take on the genre was brilliant, its mechanics interesting, engaging, and rewarding. However, the studio/publisher sought to further monetize at the expense of the player experience. The money/time we were spending was insufficient. It's been a month or two since I last logged in. Today, I found the heart to uninstall. Marvel Snap, you were a truly great one.
