I've used this off and on for a while, and it's a great idea, I appreciate the host has control over what they offer and charge. all my stays have been wonderful. the hosts tend to be very friendly and considerate. charging the card prior to the host accepting is a dealbreaker. I can't really recommend this app/service anymore. the app itself is a little buggy and hard to use, nothing bad, just hard to search specific information. edit: pending charges still affect available balance.

By far the best camping searching and booking app out there. The sharing and connecting with others is also an excellent feature. My only caveat is that the rating system should be based on a star system instead of just an approved or non-approved one because it implies you either liked the site you booked or didn't at all, which is not such the simple case. Otherwise, the app is very clean, streamlined, and easy to use.

The apps search feature is virtually worthless. Enter a location and you get listings that are nowhere near the area you want. I entered Catskills NY and got listing for PA, RI, VT, NJ. Additionally, I enter amenities, such as swimming and only one of fifteen listings mentions a swimming hole. There is a map feature that correctly puts a pin in your search area but all of the nearby campsites shown are state parks only. No private listings on the map? (not even the recommended sites).
